From Florence to Brooklyn – A Family Legacy Since 1968

We’re Marco and Sofia Bellini. Our story begins long before we were born – in the narrow streets of Florence, Italy. In 1968, our grandparents Giovanni and Lucia packed their suitcases, left everything behind, and came to Brooklyn to follow their American Dream.

 

Giovanni & Lucia – The Beginning

With only a few saved lire and a passion for Italian fashion, Giovanni and Lucia opened a small boutique in Brooklyn. It wasn’t easy – new country, new language – but their hard work, kindness, and Italian craftsmanship turned their boutique into a neighborhood treasure.

For over 50 years, families came to their store for timeless style and warm service. To many, it wasn’t just a boutique – it was part of the community.

From One Generation to the Next

We grew up watching our grandparents work day and night, driven by passion and love for their customers. Their boutique was our second home – filled with fabrics, sketches, and the smell of fresh coffee.

But one thing was always missing: an online store. Our grandparents never understood the digital world, and they left that part to us.

Today, in 2025, we – their grandchildren – are finally bringing the Bellini Collection online. A new chapter, built on the same values: family, authenticity, and timeless Italian style.
